Phentrieve

Phentrieve supports the extraction of Human Phenotype Ontology terms from clinical free text using sentence-transformer models.

Relevant phenotypic information is often recorded in free text. Structuring it as HPO terms makes it easier to use in genetic diagnostics and research workflows.

As a co-developer, I build functionality for clinical text processing, model-based phenotype extraction and the integration of structured medical information. I also conduct scientific evaluations of the methods and their suitability for clinical and research applications.

Clinical Research Data Platform

A modular application for the structured management of complex clinical research data.

The application combines a flexible data model with established tabular research workflows.

I design and implement the application architecture, data model and user interface. A modular extension system supports domain-specific functionality without unnecessarily specialising the core application. The interface is designed for users without a technical background.

Signatum

Signatum is a legal-tech application for digital power-of-attorney workflows in M&A transactions. The MVP structures documents, participants and processing states in a shared workflow.

I translated requirements from conversations with M&A practitioners into a product concept and built the end-to-end MVP. This included AI-assisted project creation, document workflows, and the import and structuring of registry data. Automated testing, CI/CD and containerised deployment were part of the technical implementation.
